About the e-Books: What is an ebook? |
An ebook is an electronic book that can be read on your computer – or in this case – is also downloadable so you can print it out in order to do the exercises, worksheets and journal entries. After it’s been printed, I recommend putting it into a three ring binder so you can easily remove and return the sheets as needed.

What format is it in? |
PDF format is a popular format for e-books and this is also the one I am using. Every one can get access to and read a PDF documents. So regardless if you have a PC or Mac, you will be able to access this e-book. Reading a PDF requires your computer to run the Acrobat Reader program but this software is standard on most new computers. If it is not included, you can download it for free from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com. PDF files are good for printing out pages – which you may want to do.

Can I buy this book in hard copy? |
The "Survive and Thrive" e-book is currently available only as an internet download. We do not sell hard copies of this e-book. The e-books are in pdf form and are viewable through Adobe Acrobat Reader, or any other pdf viewing program.
If you prefer to read a hard copy book, you are able to print the book off on your printer so that you can read it at your leisure.

Dr de Klerk, the author of these e-books, is not a professional counselor/psychologist. While she has considerable insight gained both from personal experience and from her experience with hundreds of patients, she is not a professional psychologist with psychology qualifications.
Charles Liddell=Grainger holds the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust's highest qualification...the Diploma. He is also a Vintner of the City of London and has been in the wine trade for 30 years.

About the Workshops: I have special dietary requirements, can you accommodate me? |
As far as possible we will try to accommodate special dietary needs. But the food served at Alegria is typical of the region and so to a certain extent is defined by the produce available. Please get in touch to talk about your dietary needs, so that you can enjoy your holiday. So if you are a vegetarian, or eat fish but not meat, or can't eat shellfish, or are alergic to wheat, dairy, or gluten, please drop us a line when you are thinking of booking your holiday.

Will we have free time for relaxation and sightseeing? |
There is more than enough time to relax during siesta time at Alegria, in the garden, by the pond, on the terrace or around the house. You can also use this time to do some sight-seeing or further wine tasting. You could also book extra nights before or after the workshops on a B+B basis - this is a very popular option so make your reservations asap!

Can we bring our children along? |
We love children, and so do our guests, but there are times when even parents appreciate a break. Neither the Health and Happiness nor the Wine Workshops are suitable for children -and with prancing stallions and pregnant mares or mares with foals at heel it is not safe for children either-not to mention the ponds and lakes.
